This week, K and 1st grade students learned about Vincent van Gogh, and created the Seattle Cityscape with oil pastel inspired by the artist.
We studied one of Van Gogh's most famous paintings,'Starry Night', and learned how to create visual textures by using lines, colors, and shapes. After we made textured background, we added the Space Needle and other fun buildings.
