4th grade music- Rock.

4th grade students are rockin' and rollin' with their recorders and guitars. It's great to hear student's play! Guitar class started with basic such as the parts of the guitar, frets and finger numbers, a little bit of tuning, then straight into one string melodies. It's fun to hear the students playing familar melodies from the rock genre. Many students are ready for 2 string melodies and chords which we will start. Recorder class has been doing call and response while learning new notes, and they're starting an African folk game played on the instrument, called "Olari Lobe." Great job 4th Grade!
