Lollipop Trees inspired by Hundertwasser

This week at Art, Kindergartners and 1st graders learned about an Austrian artist, Fiedensriech Hundertwasser and created Lollipop Trees (Spiral trees) Watercolor paintings inspired by the artist.
Hundertwasser didn't like straight lines, but he was fascinated by spirals. Spirals occur all the time in his pictures because he saw them as a symbol of life and nature.
We learned how to draw spirals and different watercolor techniques.
