Fourth Graders Write "Yellow Journalism" Articles

Fourth Graders re-wrote a Seattle Times article with a "yellow journalism" spin. Yellow Journalism was practiced during the late 1800's and early 1900's as a way to sensationalize the news.

William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer are known as the Godfathers of Yellow Journalism! They sold lots of papers with exagerated headlines and stretched facts.
